Maintenance Operative

Full-time 37.5 hours/week, Permanent
We are seeking an experienced and competent multi-trade operative on a permanent basis to cover a
varied range of repairs to our ever-growing housing stock.
The ideal candidate must have at least five years’ experience in repair works in the social housing
sector. Skills will include plumbing, carpentry, tiling and plastering.
The ability to assess repair requirements and to undertake work to a high standard, as well as
possessing a personable and flexible approach are essential for this post.
Properties are primarily located in Letchworth and Welwyn, as well as Central Bedfordshire. We
manage both general needs properties and supported housing units, so knowledge of Housing
Associations or Local Authority work will be beneficial.
A company van is available for the post-holder.
A full driving licence and DBS check will be required for this post.
