Neighbourhood Visits
First Garden Cities Homes is committed to maintaining safe, clean and well-managed neighbourhoods. Neighbourhood walkabouts are a key tool to ensure standards are maintained and residents are actively involved in shaping their communities.
This year our housing officers are taking a new approach, by focusing on areas where targeted investment may be needed. This will help us improve the resident experience and make neighbourhoods cleaner, safer and more welcoming.
Purpose of walkabouts
Neighbourhoodd walkabouts are carried out to:
Identify health and safety risks
- Assess cleanliness and maintenance standards
- Review communal areas and external spaces
- Identify any social, environmental and community issues
- Prioritise improvement action using RAG ratings
We would really value your feedback. Before we visit your area, we will write to you to invite you to join us on the walkabout, share your views and tell us what matters most to you. Alternatively, you can email us on enquiries@fgch.co.uk Your feedback will help us understand how we can improve our services and your neighbourhood.
