Herts and Art
A monthly social group where individuals over 55 can come along and participate in a creative session for 90 mins, delivered by artists from Open Art Box. Residents and individuals from the community all welcome. Free of charge, funded by Arise of Hatfield.
Providing a positive and inclusive environment, attendees will have the opportunity to explore, experiment and experience new art processes. For example, drawing, painting, sculpture, textiles etc. Also looking at artists work as inspiration to learn new techniques and different way of working. The sessions will offer a unique and meaningful experience designed to connect, empower and enhance the well being and quality of life for attendees. Bringing people together through the joy and freedom of creativity in a relaxed and fun environment.
Family Fun Day
We have partnered with North Herts Council and The Little Performers to host a family fun day.
The event will feature brunch, lunch, refreshments, a street dance class, arts and crafts, and visits from Woody and Jessie.
The day is free of charge for parents and children 4 years to 12 years.
Last summer's event was huge success, with 51 children and 35 parents attending.
Summer Street Dance Workshop
We are very excited to be involved in this year's Streetdance Summer workshops taking place in Letchworth Garden City from Tuesday 30th July.
The workshops are free of charge and young people and teenagers of all abilities are welcome to join the Crew - no experience needed.
