Annual Rent Increase

Your rent is reviewed annually in line with your tenancy agreement with us.  If you have a monthly tenancy your rent will increase from 1 April and if you have a weekly tenancy, from 4 April.

To calculate the annual rent we use the Government’s formula:  Consumer Price Index as of September (3.1% in 2021), plus an additional 1%.  

From April 2022 your rent will increase by 4.1 %.

The increase is needed to ensure we can continue to maintain and improve residents homes to a high standard and invest in building new homes.

Paying your rent

The rent you pay is our main source of income to maintain our properties and build new homes.

Rent is charged either monthly or weekly depending where you live, and should be paid in advance on the 1st day of the month or week.
